Szencorp Building’s Second Year Even Greener

Szencorp’s award winning green building at 40 Albert Road has made even more dramatic energy and water savings in its second year of operation. The Szencorp Building’s second year saw savings of 72% of its energy (compared to 61% in the first year) and 94% of its water (compared to 90% in the first year, compared to the industry average). The further efficiency gains are a result of careful monitoring and fine tuning of the building’s systems. The results indicate that while design is important, there is huge scope to optimise and improve building designs over time.

What sets the PHEV apart from other electric cars is that it also has a “power out” capacity, meaning it can supply our homes and offices in high demand periods. Using electricity as the fuel for this car costs as little as a quarter of the price of petrol-powered motoring.
